What is a Teleclass?

A Teleclass is a live conference call where you can listen in on an interview with an Adventure Hero, and also participate and ask questions.

The conference call number allows people to call in from anywhere.

In some cases it may also be possible to access the teleclass through the web.

TELECLASS TIPS

Calling In

Because the call is based in the US, it is recommended to use a calling card to dial in. These are readily available at the supermarket, post office or milk bars.

You may have good rates with your landline carrier (good telcos are typically around 18c per minute to the US - some have special deals and caps). However, it is possible to purchase a calling card which offers fees as low as 1 or 2c per minute.

Once you call, you will be prompted to enter the PIN which will be sent to you by email once you register. You do NOT need to announce your name when you join in.

Lines are limited so ensure you call 5 minutes before the start of the interview.

Muting out

As it is a live call, we ask everyone to keep their background noise to a minimum. You will need to press *6 (asterisk 6) to mute out your line.

It's also a good idea to mute out if you have to put the line on hold as otherwise every one will get to hear the hold music!

After the main interview (which will be about an hour) there will be the opportunity for questions.  At that stage we will give you instructions on how to unmute your line and ask your question.

Duration

Calls last for1 hour plus some time for questions at the end.  Those who wish to submit emailed questions can do so to heroes@adventurecoaching.co.nz
