Tune in and Turn on the Hero Within

If you’re up for adventures in 2008 – if you want to be inspired to push yourself to new heights – we’ve got just the thing for you…

Over the next couple of months, we’re inviting you to tune into a series of live interviews with an international line-up of people who will not only inspire you, they will give you good practical information about what you can do to find the hero within yourself.   We call them Adventure Heroes

www.adventureheroes.com - ordinary people who have challenged themselves to do extraordinary things in their personal and professional lives.

The series is free, and there’s no catches.   All you need to do is set aside one hour for each of the seven weekly interviews, beginning on Friday 15 February.

Here’s what you will get out of this:
  • Above all else, you will be inspired by ordinary people who have become extraordinary adventurers.   This could be you.   This is you.

  • Listening to their experiences, and asking questions, will give you practical useful ideas on how to find your own hero within – how to challenge yourself and achieve things that may seem impossible and out of reach, but aren’t.
  • Hearing about the critical moments in their lives – the times that made a real difference to who they are and what they do – will enable you to identify and create your own moments and use that energy for positive change.
  • And the clincher - you will get the practical tools you need to begin.   Whether you are an armchair adventurer taking your first steps, or already out there doing stuff, what you hear will help you see the possibilities, and what to do to achieve them.

To sign up, go here.

You’ll find bios for all the speakers and more information about the interviews.   It’s also where you register to join in on the calls (it is possible to listen either by phone or through the web).

The series kicks off on 15 February ( New Zealand and Australia) with an interview with Kurek Ashley (14 February, UK and USA). Get in quick and reserve your spot. www.adventureheroes.com

Tell Us About Your Adventure Heroes

We joined with fellow Kiwis and others around the world to mourn the passing of adventurer and philanthropist, Sir Edmond Hillary, on 10 January.   A true Adventure Hero.

Among the eulogies and tributes to this great man were many comments that his death marked the passing of an era, the end of a simpler age, and that we have no one to replace him.

Without a doubt, Sir Ed’s great shoes are impossible to fill – though he thought of himself as ordinary.    While we can’t replace him, there are many ‘ordinary’ heroes in this world, people who strive to better their own and others’ lives. Is there someone you know personally, have read about, or simply admire from afar?   We’d love to hear about them – you can contact us at   heroes@adventurecoaching.co.nz

Ask yourself what makes these people special, and whether there is anything you can adopt and adapt into your own life.

Till next time – many happy adventures.
