Actions speak louder than words


What have you promised yourself will happen in 2009?  After all, we know that by getting clear about what we want the chances of success increase ten-fold.

I have had a really BIG goal on my Vision Board for the last 2 years.  So when I did my planning for this year I decided.. Right!  this is the time for Action not just words.  What was that goal?

 It is to climb Mount Aspiring (height 3033m, or 9,950 ft)

Now lets be clear about this.  This is a significant Adventure Goal.  I have already attempted the mountain twice and failed.  People have died on this mountain recently.  Look at the pic and you may already be beginning to get goose bumps.

Why? I hear you saying. Well, the mountain is all about "Aspiring" to higher things.  Holding myself to a higher standard and living a life of Adventure and inspiration.  And I know that many of you 'aspire' to these kinds of values and goals.

So here is the thing.. YOU GET TO COME WITH ME! - not in person, but by virtue of the wonderful world of web.  I will be posting regular updates here on my blog as well as on my Facebook site.  There is even a dedicated Facebook Group called "Aspiring Adventure 2009".
